Who publishes MoveFirst
MoveFirst is published by NETKREATIVES BV, an independent app studio in Dendermonde, Belgium, founded in 2015. The studio takes no client work. It builds its own apps and keeps maintaining them afterwards, and MoveFirst is one of those.
Everything on this site is written by the studio in each of the languages it appears in, and the support address reaches the same people who build the app.
Why MoveFirst exists
The app is built for one specific moment: the reach for a phone that happens before you have decided to reach for it. MoveFirst answers that by keeping the apps you choose locked at the start of every day, and opening them once you have moved.
The idea is deliberately narrow. Nothing accumulates and there is no score to chase, so a day is either open or it is not. One session opens it: reps counted live by the camera, a step target read from Apple Health, or half an hour at a place you named yourself. Your apps then stay open until your no-go hours begin, until the daily limit you set is reached, or until midnight.
Five moving days a week means two rest days.
How we work
These are the studio's public commitments. They apply to MoveFirst exactly as they apply to every app we publish.
- No advertising. Nothing is ever placed between you and the thing you opened the app to do.
- Your data stays on your phone. The apps you pick, your goals, your places and your history do not leave the device, and there is no account to create.
- The camera is not a recording. Frames are read as they arrive and discarded, and no video is stored or sent anywhere.
- Four languages, written rather than machine-translated. This site is published in English, Dutch, German and French.
- Honest descriptions. We do not describe a feature the app does not have, and we do not publish a rating it has not earned.
- Support is answered by a person at the studio, at the address below.
The other apps
MoveFirst is not the only thing we publish. Plenty is a shared grocery list for a household, KlusQuest lets children earn pocket money and screen time by doing chores, and VividStatus fits any photo or video to a WhatsApp Status. Each one has its own site.
