MoveFirst is published by NETKREATIVES BV, an independent app studio in Dendermonde, Belgium, founded in 2015. The studio takes no client work. It builds its own apps and keeps maintaining them afterwards, and MoveFirst is one of those.
Why MoveFirst exists
MoveFirst is an app blocker for iPhone. Using your chosen apps drains power; movement powers it back up. Your power meter has a capacity of 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Using your chosen apps drains it; movement powers it back up. When it is empty, Screen Time blocks those apps. Everything else on your phone stays open.
Reps are counted on your iPhone. Video is never recorded, stored or sent. A second of movement adds two minutes of power. Ten squats add 40 minutes. A 20-second plank adds 40 minutes. Walking always counts: 40 steps add 30 minutes, counted by your iPhone’s motion sensors with the phone in your pocket.
Pick rest days: they start with full power and nothing drains it. Emergency power is there when you need your apps right now.
How we work
These are the studio's public commitments. They apply to MoveFirst exactly as they apply to every app we publish.
- There is no account to create.
- Screen Time keeps the apps you pick private, even from us. MoveFirst counts minutes of use, not what you do inside an app. Your power and your moves stay on this phone. Anonymous usage and crash reports are sent to help fix problems and can't be traced to you.
- Reps are counted on your iPhone. Video is never recorded, stored or sent.
- A Live Activity shows your steps counting while you walk. A widget shows your power. One notification when it runs low, at 10 minutes. That is all.
- Pick rest days: they start with full power and nothing drains it. Emergency power is there when you need your apps right now.
- MoveFirst Pro: yearly with a 7-day free trial, or weekly. Payment is made through your Apple Account; subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; manage in your App Store account settings.
